Current Mission Rotation Poll Continued


Hi Guys,
 
I am looking to geta vote from Members and Public players on what missions you'd like to stay in the Public mission rotation and ones that you think so be placed on the back burner so to speak.
 
Please take sometime to vote and if you like comment why you dont like that mission/map.

Bystrica - Copper Valley can't be removed. It is our fallback mission in case ALIVE and / or Project Opfor breaks. It is deliberately different from other missions for this reason (i.e. no Alive and AAF as the enemy).

I've only played a couple of the maps so far, and only really one all the way through so it's difficult to vote. 

However, my feedback for what it's worth:

Hearts and Minds is good but you don't get the feeling of truly fighting an insurgency. The numbers of civilians are low, I've not seen a suicide bomber or VBIED and I get the impression that by the time the insurgency is building we have cleared a lot of the map. It'd be great to start with a truly hostile area and have to subdue it and maintain control over cleared areas. It feels a bit like the old armed assault evolution to an extent, clear, rinse,  repeat.

The copper valley mission I agree with the others. We spent an hour in contact with the enemy, then half an hour finding a needle in a forest of needles.

In general the AI can be a bit too dumb, especially at longer ranges. I know that is a limitation of ARMA though so I don't know if there's anything that can be done about that.

I know from bitter experience though it is very difficult to cater for all tastes in a public environment and especially so if you want to allow for all playstyles to be valid. Are there any missions without the sandbox style objectives?
