Very informative actually :)

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt.

My level of sarcasm depends on your level of stupidity.

Been watching that channel for a while and it is a pretty good one. The guy has a pleasant voice and is explaining detail in a welcomed unagitated way.

Watched this on his website, does sum up the weapon pretty well. I don't think anyone's going to deny the A1 was a shile of pite.

Good watch. Would be good if he could do a video on our A2's. Certain he'll be thrown back on how much better it is, to it's predecessor, and all other current NATO IW's.

That one lad from Essex.

We were the first intake to pass out with the SA80 when I joined the Navy back in 1990, it was known as The plastic Spastic (things were less PC in those days)
No one had quite figured out Drill as the thing was considerably shorter than the SLR's we practiced with, The rifles biggest selling point seemed to be the fact you could dis-assemble it using only a round. It had been with the Army for a little while before we got it and the Instructor had heard enough about it that we were not allowed to fire it on anything other than single shot.

The civil servant.

Doesn't work and can't be fired.

The biggest problem in the A1's later years was the magazines. They were made of the wrong material so dented easily causing feed jams.

As usual, it was a bean counter that went against engineers specification using a cheaper material and thereby increasing the cost dramatically in the long run.

They (Gun Jesus) made a entire series about the L85A.

It is pretty interesting and informative. The most recent video shows the differences between the A1 and the A2. It also contains some information about the A3.
