Hello,

I wonder if you can help.?. I'm trying to set up Play with Six before I start my training. I have successfully installed Play with Six.

My main problem is that I only have 7.5GB on my C: drive available. But all of the Mods add up to more than that and I therefore cant install them all.

Is it possible to assign a different directory to install the Mods to? I have four hard drives - C: has 7.5GB Free, E: has 85 GB Freebut is mostly dedicated to my FSX installation, G: has 500GB free and H:, which is my storage drive, has 112 GB Free. So I have the space available, just not on the C: Drive.

Many thanks for your anticipated assistance.

Kind regards

Stuart

Yes, it's no problem at all to install your mods to a different drive.

See the Play With Six screen shot below, red circled area:

The game is installed on my C:\ drive and the mods are on my F:\ drive. Make the Mods and Sync directories the same place.

You may be able to copy across previously installed mods (with Windows Explorer), but sometimes it's simpler to delete (using PwS), change the mod folder location, then reinstall.

Hi guys,

Any chance of a quick hand?
I've downloaded the vast majority of the mods in the public list - I've got 41 of the 48 i think - But the download has stopped on 98.9% and has been stuck there for hours!

I tried finishing each mod singly, which is how i've got 41 of them installed - But i can't finish the last few, if I try them on their own, it just says 'Unpacking mod .00%' and stays like it, if I try them as as group, it either says unpacking mod, or goes back to 'downloading 98%'

Any ideas?

Cheers

It is mot likely that PWS is actually trying to unpack the mods and the the timer is just not showing it properly. Try to download the mods and wait for some time. Depending on your hardware, unpacking all those mods might take up to 30 minutes.

It can be a hit and miss.

Sometimes PW6 can take Hours to seemingly do a simple install.

Try leaving it and walking away for 40 mins.

IF that doesn't work, close PW6,delete the Sync folder (.SYNC in the same folder all the @mod folders go.)

And try again...

Yes the sync objects keeps a "copy" of the most recent version - it's so you can roll back easily.

It can be deleted and the option in PWS which says Keep latest content versions set to 0

so that's <Settings> <Game Settings> Top option
