The troop and FAC slots are considered critical roles in public actions nd can only be taken by full 3CB members, so unfortunately you can't take it yet, and shouldn't have been able to before.

As a recruit I'd strongly advise sticking to non-leadership roles as it allows us to get the best impression of you without the added pressures of leading, and also allows you to better integrate in to how we do things.
