So Bi made a Mod for their own game...

STARGATE!!!!!

As it's an official BI mod I don't see a reason why we can't have it.

We all love shiny shiny new kit.

The issue is not whether its official or not. It's another mod to add to the repo, so if its deployment will be balanced against other mods competing for the same space.

We barely use smgs as it is. Once the novelty wears off it'll just gather virtual dust.

Perhaps he was speaking for the large amount of us that use 3CB kit and weapons because this is a British milsim unit? Obviously some people would use it.
For the majority of people, I only think this would end up getting used on the occasional late-night-3CB.

Might be nice to play with for a month or two though :)

We're only a British milsim unit in private Vex.

On Public we've more diversity and colour than a Pride parade.

And yet im not allowed to run around as 1-0 with an AA-12 bringing explosive justice to my enemies :p

You've obviously never been on a 3CB after dark session.
