CAS Pilot Training

Yep, we have our official training, which is reserved to members only. Our training instructors put a lot of time and effort into developing and improving various training offers and so it is understandable, that we do not openly share content of those trainings. When it comes to playing as a pilot inside our unit, I can also tell you that CAS is only a small part of that role. Other areas are transport, logistics and reconnaissance. CAS can be very powerful and we always try to balance our missions and so you will often find yourself not engaging targets that you could engage, because we want to keep it balanced or we try to keep our valuable air assets out of unecessary danger.

When it comes to your issues with targeting systems, it would be helpful if you tell us what vehicle you use. The Wildcats and Apache helicopters are designed to be used with a pilot and a co-pilot an if you use a Wildcat alone, you will have a lot of trouble using laser guided weapons alone.

The F18 has had issues with some of its weaponry since the vehicle targeting patch just before Apex. As to the Harrier, I have no idea how it's faring as it's a piece of poopy that I only use when forced to :v
