Looks interesting.  Imo the civi side is one of the weaknesses of arma
The more of this that is available in the core game the richer we can make our missions.

A DLC focused on the 'non-pew pew' aspects lends itself really well to mission making! Not had a proper look though yet, but could lead to some really interesting scenarios - Switching to Dev branch now to check it out while I've got no net at the new house

I think announcing the price as £5.99 and then releasing it as £8.99 is a bit bad. Most likely I will be buying the "DLC bundle 2" when it goes on sale.

So the question is....Will this be a requirement by 3CB?

Can we play without it on the public server?

I am not one for playing campaign mode or scenerios set out by BI. I am a player that plays multiplayer servers, that being said i have not been on anything else but yours for the last 4 months

There would be no reason for it to be a requirement.

I have not checked it yet, but I would guess it follows the same line as all previous dlc. You are not locked out if you do not own the dlc itself, but you may be not able to use pieces of the dlc yourself.

Ownership of the new DLC is not a requirement to play on our public server, as the missions do not use any of the new content.  If we choose to use some of the new assets, at a later date,  we'll make sure that DLC ownership is not mandatory.
