Dirt Rally

That's fantastic Sam!

What is the handling like? I noticed in a few places where the navigator said "left/right don't cut" that you did cut with wheels into big ditches and it didn't make much difference to the car's line?

I've only played rFactor for reference, but that was considered quite a high fidelity sim, which I like (at the expense of graphics if need be).

Nice game so far. The physics are solid, but as mentioned here htey could use some improvements in some areas. I also hope you wull get more
dirt and other stuff on your windshield. I dont have a whee, so I have
to play with a gamepad. Gamepad controls can also use some improvements.
On the standard settings, they are very unprecise and overresponsive.
You can work around this by putting the two sensivity on very low and
work your way up until it feels right again (25 settings for me right
now).

I like the fact that right now you cant change the difficutly in career mode. It actually puts me where I belong and right
now that is one step away from the third place.

Here is a replay of my first go in a track on wales. Just ignore me making screenshots and being a terrible driver.

What kind of longevity will this have? Will there be a mod scene with new maps / cars, or will it be locked up?

Are you only time trialling or can you race with one more than one car on track?

Multiplayer planned?

That looks pretty sweet. An eBay bargain?
I've got a G25 - pleased it works with Dirt R without requiring set-up. Force feedback on rFactor was always less than perfect for me, so I'm looking forward to some driving today to see what it's like.

Yup total ebay bargin. Collection only from plymouth so good old jeds picking it up for me like a legend. Yeah G25s are still awesome i wish i could of afforded a second hand g25/7 but there about £100 on ebay. I like the fact you can get differnt wheels for the G series. So you could get a rally wheel off the modern cars with all the buttons and what nots.

When I first bought my G25 I was astounded to find the wheels and pedals were much better quality than my actual real car!!

I'm pretty sure TrackIR does work with it. Haven't got mine to centre yet but it does turn.
