My MFG Crosswind pedals are finally ready to ship and replace my semi-functioning Saitek ProFlight pedals!
Will finally be able to have working toe brakes again

Not sure i have never used it like that, i use JoyToKey for the hat switch in Arma, set it to slew in DCS for the A-10C as i have TrackIR to look around.

I think you can only use it to swap functions already mapped to the stick, so for example there are 2 mappable buttons that aren't on the throttle or stick, so you could map functions to them, and switch in game as you need to

I know its all additional expense, but TrackIR is the second best peripheral purchase I have made for my PC (the first being a second hand Herman Miller chair)
It adds a huge amount of immersion to flight sims and Arma, and I believe there are now cheaper options available

I believe there are even free face tracking packages available, you just need a webcam. Not as reliable as it tracking but it should give you an idea of what it adds
