Reply saying that, I wrote about a paragraph listing my exact reasons for wanting the refund and how I felt the game had been misrepresented.

Though I would give the beta patch a try, now getting a solid (suspiciously solid considering frame rate cap is off) 60FPS
Thats with a GTX 970 at 2560x1440

There are a few artifacts that were not there before but hardly noticeable.

Tried that Nick, would not refund me as over 2 hours. It's a joke. I won't be buying from steam again..... (7th October mafia 3 release). Steam take my money! Lol

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge

His men would follow him anywhere, but only out of curiosity.

My performance was always maxed out (aside from the godawful microstutters that randomly manifested), it was just that the game looked like wank even when maxed. And not just wank, but glitchy wank...

Well I cant account for personal taste, just a comment on the reported technical issues,
I certainly understand why this game wouldnt be everyones cup of tea!

I had Mefirst's ocean analogy rattling around on my head every time I saw footage from the game. The procedurally generated wildlife seem to harm more than help the game for me, its nice that there are unique elements, but it really breaks the immersion how there doesn't seem to be any logic to it.

Even though it's not got the most compelling narrative itself. I'm no sure why anyone would choose this over elite

yeah thats a good point, in fact they both seem to do a fairly good job of creating a huge universe that is almost devoid of anything interesting to do, It will be interesting to see if NMS develops into anything more than it is now. Either way, Im sure Chris Roberts is watching and learning from their mistakes.

You'd hope so!

My biggest worry with star citizen is optimisation. When I bought in a couple of years ago I knew I'd have to upgrade my rig, which I have, fairly substantially. But by the time it's released I'll probably need to upgrade my GPU again
