Operation Valley Run - Mission Success!

Its been a while since we've had an operation of this size, but running this operation tonight showed that we still have what it takes! Great effort from everyone involved (Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Foxtrott).

If anyone has anyone screenshots or footage, feel free to share.

Keep up the good work,
Admin

It was such good fun to be back operating as a big unit again.
Nice mission MrSir, simple but intense.
Good leadership as always from the big G, and other squad leads.
Alrick, brilliant job!

I'm no movie maker... but here's some of the footage from Foxtrot's perspective.

14:45 for Benzy crying ;-)

17:25 guess who's been playing ArmA3 too much and forgot how to set off a satchel (me) --- almost blew up Charlie's HMMWV! If the satchel didn't get them, the mine would have. Although Hotel was a little premature with the "proceed proceed" command. ;-)

This looked like an absolute blast. Hopefully I can get on for the next big op! Stupid employment, taking up my weekend ArmA time.

Very nice Whiplash.
Great to see it from Charlie's view, you certainly saw some action up front there, oh boy, did you ever!

A point for reflection - professionalism - voice discipline could be improved by some who were in Charlie. Less shouting, more concise relevant information please. Would help all around to enjoy the game more without the ear ache and difficulty of hearing Command and make it seem less like a school trip of over-excited 13 year old boys. Not intended as an insult to anyone lads, just how I feel things could be improved for next time. There's a time and place for loud banter, but while a Command unit is speaking or when moving with other Sections is not it imho.

Other than that, Charlie were amazing given the unenviable point-role!!

Couldn't agree more. Its very hard to concentrate (especially for those that can't multitask :P) when all you can hear is frantic screaming and banter. When s**t hits the fan the best responce is to remain calm and keep comms relevant and concise (direct & radio). I know we're just playing a game and having fun, but at the same time its not fun when you can't hear important reports/commands because two guys behind you are having a fit.

Not bashing against anyone in particular, just something that we should all keep an eye on as a group.

Also, great video Whip - was good seeing how everything went down from Charlie's perspective. I'm looking forward to our next operation with everyone!
