I feel sorry for Arka, he's forever going to be associated with the events of a single op. I've known players (Shogun) to have more significant blue on blue incidents with more lethal results. :P

*cough* In my defense I've never mistaken blufor for opfor.... most my blue on blue moments have been down to "geographically related misjudgments". ;)

Case in point.

In fact, one could argue that I was too accurate.

.....Thanks to Arka for making the fantastic ribbon images for us!

awesome work Arka looks very nice, love it ...

since the 'Helpfull Techie', is one of the ribbons that i would be aiming for.
I dont like it .. its the only one with a colloquial in it ... and is has the ring of 'usefull idot' to it =/
and i like to suggest

  • tech ...
  • technical  ...
  • ... coach
  • ... instructor
  • ... tutor
  • ... trainer
  • ... advisor
  • coaching ...
  • instructing ...
  • tutoring ...
  • advising ...
  • ... technician

and for my love of alliterations .. I favor Tech Tutor / Technical Tutor ,,, Tutoring Technician is also nice =)

cheers moeses

ps: A boiling vessel is a water heating system fitted to British Armoured fighting vehicles that permits the crew to heat water and cook food by drawing power from the vehicle electrical supply.

formating edits ... some newlines got eaten up

Hmmm good point. Probably doesn't translate well. It does make sense in colloquial English but I get your point. What about "Go-to Tech" ?

meh ...

i just want to get away from techie ...
it dosnt have the 'professional' ring to it that would make me proud to wear that tag ...
also geek and nerd implies stange skiny guy with bad skin strange glasses and no social life since he is 24/7 infront of his PC. I'm not saying this is not how it is false, but not as desirebile as the other tags

.. you dont want the
  • modders to get called 'tacky engine tinker'
  • the Media Managers 'Youtube Clip Cutter' ..
  • or the Mission Creators 'Rat Maze Maker'

orthought i like some of the names =)

cheers moeses

ps: Tech Tutor ftw

pps: Sydney Harbour (also called Port Jackson) is a natural harbour. It is on the East Coast of Australia in Sydney. It is also the location of the famous Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Tech Advisor would probably be the best choice imo.
