Greeting message and Inventory Issue

The inventory window closing is due to the cleanup script, which should only happen around the spawn area. When you open your inventory, you actually create a virtual item pile vehicle which is ready to be filled with any items you drop - thr cleanup script removes this along with all items on the ground, and so your inventory window closes just the same as if you'd been interacting with a vehicle that drove away.

Could you confirm that you'e really seeing this EVERYWHERE on thr map, and which mission? 

PS, put your weapon safety on to avoid shooting people in spawn due to this
