Had a BMP spawning 20cm away from in the public action. Also had a section spawn under my vehicle.

Where were you and what were the circumstances? Had you been driving for a long distance for example? Where were the rest of the players? Was everyone spread out in different areas of the map? Was anyone in zeus? I have my suspicions why this keeps occurring and short of ditching ALiVE I'm not sure we're going to be able to get around it. However I need more info.

ALiVE ? Well unless they’ve take it out it’s a fundamental component if one of the key modules. Let’s you define the spawn response given a certain number of players. Be surprised Red if thy have taken it out. [emoji6]

This was travelling towards the Artillery objective from the main base along the MSR. I can't remember the town names etc, but its the main road leading through to it. 

People were not spread out across the map, we had roughly 25-27 players active within the AO only including 1x Apache on station, and myself and RevJono in as zeus (not spawning AI, but checkpoints etc and objects, plus deleting these units which appeared right next to blufor units). 

It appeared not to be linked in with our location as zeus on the map, as both myself and Jono were at the objective, yet kept getting reports over 50 that another BTR/BMP/section had spawned in on top of friendly units.

To my knowledge there's never been such a thing in ALiVE. The virtual profile module has no such setting anyway. ALiVE has always treated each player as a spawn initiator.

Thanks Dobbeh. I really would suggest that zeus don't add more units of any description to that map. However I wasn't aware it had gone back on the rotation already, we are testing some elements of it tonight which have just been changed. I've increased the spawn distance, decreased the smooth spawn setting and increased the profile limiter so we should have ai spawned further out, quicker and with a higher limit. Will have to see how that works but I'm hopeful.

Nah nothing extra in terms of AI was added. We just moved those that had spawned in a round a bit. 

Look forward to trying it out from on the ground tonight, really enjoyed the CAS mechanic with the airfield on that small island.

Nemesis has been updated on the git and the server to v8. This has a new task mechanic which I'm working on. Be interested to make sure that it works in MP before going any further. The UAV Flight recorder can be removed via the action menu, and also handed over to the RMP (No green slime berets!) intel guy via the action menu.

@Dobbeh & Public team, per our conversation last night, there are some AI which aren't controlled by ALiVE. These will be visible with no friendly units nearby "spawning them in". Please leave these where they are doing what they're doing, as there are triggers and such monitoring them and you may inadvertently break a task.
