Public Server Missions Update


Hi guys.

Just a heads up, I will be updating the missions on the server over the next couple of days. Bulldogs will be added to those missions that suit them. Additionally I will be swapping all GMG variant vehicles for either HMG or GPMG versions as we don't use these vehicle versions on private ops due to their OP armament in the ARMA context.

I tested the Ice cream cabinet mechanism... It's working ok.. Just that ALiVE is unloading the cabinet outside the base walls for some reason? Object locality? Carried it back in using ALiVE logistics and it triggers the objective ok

With the ALiVE Ai, I checked and ran the mission for 2 hours or so. It uses a custom Asymmetric commander setup and I was curious to see if it still worked. within 30 mins we had a Recruitment centre setup - creating new Insurgent units. Then bomb factories started to appear.

At the end of 2 hours the map was well populated with Opfor and it would have been challenging to move out of the safety of the base without serious firepower / air-support. Which is availble to 1-0 through their ALiVE battle tablet (again through the ALiVE key).

Anyway - didn't mess with any IED's. I agree that needs to be discussed and a coherent system worked out as it should really match all our ops... Not sure how to do that automatically ?

Following your feedback last night I have reset the mission to remove the tweaks I made to the ALIVE setup, thereby lowering significantly the initial AI that you will have in the file from last night.

As for ALIVE logistics, sadly the why's and wherefores are beyond me. Thanks for confirming that it is ALIVE logistics players should use for that mechanic.

I will be picking up the IED questions with Lifetap later.
