Wouldn't affect it at all given it's part of the faction pack and already in the repo.

And no, I wasn't being sarcastic. It was and is an option in my head. If *being 3CB* means "only ever play as marines" rather than a wider "organised, immersive, cooperative, realism, fun (and mainly play as marines)" then yeah, it's not going to be much of a recruitment tool.

Issue is, I was asked to provide variety. Evrik has put a lot of work into the faction pack and using it for an OPFor made sense and the Cold war setting has had some positive feedback and is most definitely "different". However we don't have the assets for 3CB to adequately give any sort of variety and can barely do CW infantry loadouts.

On the one hand I have players saying "I won't play this mission if you make it US because this is 3CB" and on the other I have people saying "I won't play the mission because the units and assets are anachronous and it's not realistic". Bit of a conundrum. Of course the alternative is to make yet another MTP modern mission on the same map.

More than happy to hear what people think.

I don't see the harm in having 1 public mission being non-uk marines. We do occasionally play as other units so I think it still reflects us, while allowing for a more immersive experience and will definitely add some variety to the server.

Can you not just have both BAF and US Cold War? 

You could have an Arsenal, which gets additions overtime as players complete missions. I know you don’t want an Arsenal, but this would satisfy the problem just with the compromise of the Arsenal, which some would argue as a good thing.

It's not really about guns and clothes, it's about assets, vehicles and helos etc.

You’re missing my point. If you’re problem is assets, use a combination of BAF and RHS/Factions assets. You’ll have the issue of kit. So, the compromise would require an arsenal.

Well yes, I already am. The Helo's are US. I don't see that we need US weapons and Kit to use US assets.

hi on the public server there was a bug yesterday and the day before that ones you complete a mission the vehicle that you was suppose to get didn't spawn at all but some times it would spawn a vehicle
