I'm looking into ways players who join might be able to see units in the field locations by way of map markers or an Intel map at base. We will also look to set a non usable vehicle or Long Range radio for those who don't have them by default.

One thing SLs, FTLs and other leadership roles can do to help is make sure they're recording their own position on the map routinely.

Could you add a delayed and inaccurate marker to the map? e.g. updating no more than once a minute, and accurate only to within 1km randomised? Enough for players to get the general area and into radio range.

Disclaimer: not played the map yet, so speaking purely theoretically with no grounding in reality :s

Yeah sounds good mate, I did think about something like an Intel map, that you can only view at base, but didn't really know how that might work.

Yeah, I think this should be done anyway, but even more so on a map like this!

Requesting a crate of handheld flares for night fighting. If this is realistic. We couldn't see a bloody thing.

Also still having a hard time getting JIP players in, moreso than with other public missions, just mentioning.

In general. This might be my favourite. I've had great runs on it. Thanks Reddog.

CTP cooldown timer was under 10 seconds. Is that normal?
