My issue with IEDs has always been the problem with not being able to spot them, and the vanilla Arma metal detector being so utterly crap. Now there is a metal detector mod that has been released but there are issues with it not working after respawn so I don't know what to say at the moment.

Is that the mod that has been given to the guy at @AGM to add in at a later date? If so, that will ultimately resolve the issue.
