Add in MERT

The public mission I'm working on has a MERT team and dedicated compound for casevac.The issue with having it on the public is that it's hard to get folks to rtb as a casualty or even making it to them before respawns. It works on private because loudouts are restricted but when you have public medics with 20 paks MERT is less critical. Having paks only work at med vehicles and stations and extending the bleed out time would make MERT effective on public, but might make small patrol ops with no MERT harder.

Why not just attach a med assistant to one of the whisky slots. That way the facility exists to extract wounded without having to do a full rtb or sacrificing a section medic to take the casualty back to a med tent or ambulance. If there is someone happy to play this role it will also allow sections to operate less conservatively if they don't have a medic slotted in.

True but it also wouldn't be ridiculous to see a full 1-1, rec and 2 mortar crew in 1-3, so a potential 12 players sharing one medic, who is not as mobile as mert would be
