Suggestion for the base areas.

Dropped items in base are automatically removed every 5 minutes. So that's a maximum 5 minutes that an item will be on the ground, and an average of 2.5 minutes before clean-up.
It is expected and accepted that items will be dropped from inventory around the arsenal crates, hence the aggressive clean-up script (which is specific to the base area).

Given that, I'm not sure I understand what benefit there would be in having a self-emptying container, especially as people will most likely still drop stuff on the ground even if one existed.

To be fair I try and remove them in arsenal, that's not always practical when you're in a rush to get out with the lads.

To add to that, sometimes I've been out and when coming back hours later, discarded items are still on the ground. Not every map but a few.

I suggest one or two guards with mg on watchtowers watching spawn area as Scofer did on his ruski mission. Anyone TK'ing in the base would be punished immidietly. (But last few days I didnt noticed nobody Tking)

We used to have a script that prevented weapons being fired in base and you would get a warning message. If you threw a grenade or fired a missile from a launcher, they would vanish before exploding so that you couldn't kill people. Not sure what happened to that.

Just create a basic load out, with meds etc that you take out regardless of role, then all you have to do is log in, pick up your favourite murder aid, grab a few mags and away you go. This way there should be no reason for excessive dumping at base.

Most of our missions do have base guards, but to be honest, they usually cause more harm than benefit - for example, you pilot a helicopter which gets shot down, killing some cargo. On return to base you are killed by the guards for team killing.

We removed the prevent-firing-in-base script because there was then no way to deal with Opfor that decided to invade, leaving the spawn area as an unsafe massacre ground. The base guards tend to be lacking in moral fibre, even though they are un-killable and they don't do a good enough job to keep out the bad guys.

Unless I'm mistaken however, there isn't a big issue that needs fixing.

Apollo's right. The principle of team killing should be so un-acceptable we would have no need of a nanny.
