Let's hope they add the texture paths to the G.O.S maps, as we use these more frequently than the old CUP maps

Believe this is something we can do as a patch to their mod, might be worth doing in the meantime. 

I'll take a look to see if it can be done quickly.

Slight thread hijacking, but I think this could be discussed here.

I think we are currently able to put out too many trenches in a short amount of time. At first I thought that the time to build a trench itself is too short. But I checked it earlier today and I think the time itself is alright. So I think that currently too many people inside a section can dig trenches. I think it would be a good idea to reduces standard number of entrenching tools per section to two. Engineers should have a entrenching tool apart from that maybe a AT-Soldier or a Marksman/Sharpshooter. 

This would:

  • Stop us from building big and complex trenches in a short amount of time
  • Keep the awareness of the other 6 members of the section up. You often see 6-7 people of a section building trenches and not actively looking out for enemy threats. 

Would be good to get some opinions about this.

But it is to my general knowledge that all infantrymen carry entrenching tools, a shovel is not a "specialized tool", so personally I don't understand nor would I support making only a couple of people in the section who have the tool. 
"Stop us from building big and complex trenches in a short amount of time." That is the point of having everyone getting their own tool (both IRL and in-game), for that purpose. Taking that away removes a realistic, useful, and in some cases necessary/vital cover for a section.

That is the job of the section leader, he leads the team, he should be able to control his section and tell which members to do what if necessary. If needed, he can pick out 2 from his section to build the trenches while everyone else watches out for enemies.

First at all I guess it was a slight mistake to have this in a public area. I am referring to private operations and not to the public server in which you also have access to a arsenal. What I described is a issue in private operations. Since you are not a member and you are years away from being able to hand in a application, I guess it is better to move this discussion to a member area, since those are the people who would be afflicted by any changes and so their feedback matters in this regard. Your feedback is invalid in this case since you have no idea how we play inside 3CB.
