Husky top gun

I was Husky gunner in the op last night and noted that the turret would move around of its own free will. The interesting thing was it seemed to get faster the closer it got to the perpendicular of travel (both sides). This only happened to if the vehicle was moving.

Is this effect due to the gun/turret being affected by the force of air pressure?!

I doubt it. We'd have to test again. None of these issues were noted in testing. Which weapon system turret was it? Was it a case of you pointing north (for example) and then if the vehicle turned east, you would remain pointing north (now 90 degrees to the vehicle) or did the turret turn with the vehicle forcing you to correct? As for speeding up, it is likely an optical illusion due to the shape of the turret shielding or the turret is slightly off-centre in the model. The speed of a turret turning is a single entry for horizontal movement.

It was the Husky TSV Passenger GPMG. It was definitely doing it its own, because it would come to rest facing backwards and there were definitely no hair pin corners.

I noticed it most because I was in and out of the map and when I came out the gun was rotating. Last nights Op was maps only, perhaps testing didn't cover this scenario fully?

Interestingly, if the gun was to the right of centre it would move to the right, if left, the left.

I even disconnected my mouse to negate that as a reason.

Was your free look key stuck in? I know it will stabilise to a position if you hold free look
