Mod Approval / RPT Logs


This thread is for requesting mods to approved for use on the public server/operations.

For a mod to be approved, we require a copy of the RPT (log file) generated when running the mod. This is so I can check for any obvious errors/mass log spam that would affect performance.

See below for how to post your RPT.




RPT Tutorial (for newbies)
For object packs (weapons/uniforms/vehicles)
1. Download the Object Dumper mission.
2. Place unzipped mission in your mission folder: C:\Users\YourUsername\Documents\Arma 3 - Other Profiles\YourProfile\missions\
3. Edit the init.sqf:

_modPrefixes = ["RHS"]; // Change "RHS" to the mod prefix used by your mod
4. Launch game with the mod only (+ any required dependencies).
5. In-game: Main Menu > Editor > Load > mrg_objectDumper.VR > Preview.
6. Wait for mission to finish loading/spawing all objects. Minimise game.
7. Locate your latest RPT file: C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\Arma 3\
8. Open it in Notepad, copy & paste the full RPT into this page: HasteBin.
9. Click Save (top right) > copy & paste the URL from your address bar into this thread.
Done.

For Maps
1. Launch game with the map only (+ any required dependencies).
2. In-game: Main Menu > Editor > (select map) > place down single player unit > Preview.
3. Let the mission load, run around for a bit. Minimise game.
4. Locate your latest RPT file: C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\Arma 3\
5. Open it in Notepad, copy & paste the full RPT into this page: HasteBin.
6. Click Save (top right) > copy & paste the URL from your address bar into this thread.
Done.

Please include the version number of the mod (as shown in Play WithSIX).

Uses RHS(US&AFRF) and 'TRYK's MP uniforms" to create Taliban (sorry, 'Takistani Insurgents'), 'Russian Rebels' (like a way cooler and less greek version of FIA) and also a 'non-alien-space-bug' version of CSAT (i.e. normal current gen uniform). Supports ALiVE :)

Thanks Jamster. Did you run the map in the editor before posting that RPT? I hope so, because that's looking very clean (especially for v1.0)!


Edit: Just spoke to Jamster on TS - the RPT was posted after he flew around on the map for a bit. Now testing the map myself (only 150MB download :D ).

I flew around whole island in zeus mode. Since missions starts thre are low rpt errors.

JSRS3: DragonFyre EDEN 1.2

Tried to do the whole RPT Log thing but I don't think I did it right and whether or not I would need to paste the RPT Log for this mod in here is beyond me. 

Regardless, it's a pretty amazing mod and according to the mod author DragonFyre EDEN fully supports multiplayer so I figured I'd post it in here and see what you think of it. I hope it plays well with the server because I'd really like to go back to using JSRS :D Fingers crossed. :up:

Dynsound is still optional (you dont have to use it)..

The issue that JSRS had in the past that it is altering the entire soundscape and it usually creates a lot of bad situationd between players that use it and dont use it. If you use it you can hear all sort of engines much earlier than people who dont use it and that is bad for balance and immersion.

There is no war to end all wars.
