Get in touch with the people that made the 3D model. I know that _Flax from the BIS community reckoned that he had spoken to them and that they were prepared to pass him a model.

I'm awaiting a reply

So we go FV432 -> Warrior -> FV432 (er Ares without turret) ..... makes perfect sense.   I hear that our next AWACS will be a Nimrod ;)

They've still got the big dishes on the coast for a bloke to stick his ear next to and listen out for Jerry's bombers... :v

If you can dismiss the FRES (etc)fiasco for a moment the Ares system is a significant upgrade over warrior. Its 40mm cannon is a massive improvement over the 30mm the warrior sports and the armour, power plant, electronic infrastructure is 30-40 years improved over anything else. Yes it's too big and heavy for pure recce. I agree. But as it's actually a modular chassis for a number of platforms it's a step up. Problem will come in 10 years when we need to fly somewhere quickly to react. Will we still have scimitar's I wonder?

Not to be a kill joy or anything but I don't see many bug reports....

Can a grown up branch the thread please?

New vic is to replace the FV107 Scims, not FV510's. Warrior will have the 40mm upgrade soon.

Imo, this should be very low on the "List of sh*t to do" for the modders.

rhs has a bulldog model I think

Question regarding the upcoming Rovers, specifically aimed at Apollo

Will the woodland variants have the normal British Army woodland camouflage pattern? I.e the ones on the Jackals\Coyotes?

Image

This pattern, to be precise. And, will the Snatch's have the webbing\camo netting over the exterior?

That one lad from Essex.

The front vehicle shown in your photo is not a modern Land Rover Defender Wolf type and I don't think they have been in that camo scheme for many years. Ours are based on the Defender 110 and will be in a plain green (olive), a desert sand or UN white.

However they are fully set up with hidden selections, so people can create and apply their own textures.

Yes, the Snatch has a webbing net option.

Fantastic, really looking forward to these. It's a shame that they won't be coming in their distinct camo patterns, but it's completely understandable, since it'll be already another set of work to add to your current lol

Just a few more references I've dragged up.

Spoiler
