As much as that looks silly (the music doesn't exactly help) it seems to be pretty sensible. Technicals/pickups are a major component of militia warfare and jumping onto/off moving vehicles is something that most people have a natural resistance to, just like we don't like crawling through fire/mud while somebody is shooting at us. This isn't winning any OSHA/HSE awards but it's simple, cheap and looks to be pretty relevant for the war that they're fighting.
