Haha, what is going on up the top of the 'kills list'? Some seriously bloodthirsty marine
Out of curiosity am I the only one that the server doesn't show kill stats too?  Just curious as it never tells me how many I killed....

The scoreboard is disabled in game for two reasons:

1) to prevent the quick check to see whether that enemy you're shooting but can't see too well is dead, or just injured, or hiding ready to kill you later on
2) to remove the competitive urge between players to get the most kills - it's all about team work and those players with less kills are often doing the more important jobs such as guarding the rear, commanding, medical etc

Comparing kill counts misses the point of what 3CB is all about.

I wouldn't take much notice of the steam one to be honest. It's massively out.

I've been top of the board as a troop medic and had dozens of kills not even show up.

Yeah I am also quite sure the steam score that shows "kills" basically shows what steam identifies as points (points do not only come from kills btw).

There is no war to end all wars.

Maybe a few cases of 1 too many sticks of morphine :-D

Murphy's Law of Combat Operations # 8: If at first you don't succeed... call in an airstrike.

I tend to glance at it near the end of the mission to get an idea of the total forces involved, and how much action I saw compared to the overall picture. There tend to be one or two people with massively higher scores, typically either because they've destroyed some armour or simply got the finishing shot on a load of hostiles - but I don't think anyone here was implying that the scores were anything more than an amusing point.

Some people will always be competitive, some people will always be wildly anti-competitive, but most people don't really care and just want to play :P

Completely understand and agree apollo. I was just curious. I think the 2nd reason is the best one.
