My favorite movies of all time are :

28 days later and Gladiator.

Sad that 28 weeks later was " US " oriented... I would have loved to see the british army taking London back instead of those stereotype. Even If I like the scene where they started to kill everybody, civilians included. A powerful moment.

Aaaaaaand of course :

The Dark Knight .

As a Batman fan, it's definitely my favourite

In my mind, I suspect that the British Armed Forces would have ceased to exist in that universe...

Not saying it's a favourite but I've just watched the siege of Jadotville on netflix and really interesting watch about an Irish company working for the UN in the Congo who fwere put under seige and left on there own.   I won't spoil any more but definitely worth a watch.

Not really the best spot for this, but eh, closest relevant thread.

Not sure what to make if it. Loved the first film, and I'm genuinely curious and a little excited as to where Danny Boyle's version of the characters ended up (not taking into consideration Irvine Welsh's 'Porno' novel)...but at the same time, I don't want to risk spoiling the story with a crappy conclusion (A'la 'Alien: Resurrection').

I'd imagine troops in Germany, Ireland, Iraq, Cyprus and Canada would have at least been mentioned let alone shown up.

Caught this on the weekend with the misses. Pretty damn good film. Also pretty bloody brutal as far as the violence goes. Handful of walkouts after some of the more graphic scenes - also left the misses feeling fairly rattled and queasy at times. Nevertheless, if you're into westerns/suspense/horror, this should be right up your alley :D. Probably one of my favorites for 2016 so far.

Watched this and it was pretty good. Trailer puts this a bit more over the top as it actually is, but it is a pretty good classical comedy.

I presume people would come to this thread to find a find they should watch. If you want a film that will leave you with absolute satisfaction, pick any of these that you have not yet seen before. Trust me.

(in no particular order, except for interstellar lol what a film):

- Interstellar (or anything Nolan)
- The Prestige
- 2001: A Space Odyssey
- A Clockwork Orange
- 12 Angry Men
- Forrest Gump
- Inception (or anything Nolan)
- LOTR Trilogy (Not one film obviously, but come on they're all equally great)
- Once Upon a Time in the West (that soundtrack tho, ennio morricone)
- The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
- Goodfellas (or any film
- Saving Private Ryan
- Lone Survivor
- The Pianist
- Whiplash
- Gladiator
- Memento (or anything Nolan)
- Alien
- The Dark Knight
- American Beauty
- Once Upon a Time in America (that soundtrack tho, ennio morricone)
- Good Will Hunting
- Casino
- A Beautiful Mind
- V for Vendetta
- Leon: The Professional
- The Wolf of Wallstreet
- Gran Torino
- Trainspotting
- No Country for Old Men
- INTO THE WILD (<3)
- Kill Bill (both volumes. They're pretty much one film, or were supposed to be. Also watch every single film by Tarantino. They're pretty much all classics.)

PMs welcome :)
