This is not meant to be a video game. It has not much to do with video games and so you cant really compare it. Entertainment will also most likely not mean video games. More like creating visual scenarios for documentations on TV etc.

Depending on the capabilities of the engine, it's what ever you make it to be. Look at Arma communities the world over, like this one, for a prime example.

If that software is as open to modding as Arma while being much much easier to work with, then it'll do very well as a public commercial product.

I for one will take a look at it 'when' it comes available. Quote: Details about availability for "entertainment" purposes will be announced shortly.

Well, I know some people who are in that "entertainment" area. I was closed alpha tester for Rising Storm and was at Gamescom with the developers when the game was about to come out. After the release, the devs (antimatter games, not tripwire) got the offer to use their engine and their assets for "entertainment" purposes. They basically created visual scenarios for pacific war related documentaries on TV. I recently reconnected with with some of the Devs and they said that are quite sure the engine will be used to to stuff like that.

Yeah, I suppose 'entertainment purposes' is a bit vague.
