open arma3 sync
Navigate to the "Addon Options tab"
Under "Addon Search Directories" remove "...\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Arma 3\!Workshop" if it is there.

"...\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Arma 3" is more likely to be there, remove this.

Then add the direct path to the folder where you store your mods (if it not already there)

Then you should be good to go

Alternative: unsubscribe from items in the steam workshop and delete your Arma3\!workshop folder

This indicates you have TFAR installed from Steam workshop, firstly make sure you are not subscribed to any of our mods or mods we use from the Steam workshop and only use the version from A3Sync.
