LEA - Loadout Editor Profiles for non supported addons

Ok, so Major Shepard has released his excellent LEA mod for Arma 3.

In A2 this mod basically transformed the game for me as it meant no more No0b rushing on the weapons crates, and allowed me to focus on gameplay rather that finding the best hat to go with my socks (!)

Basically imagine VAS, but OUTSIDE the game and you save the profiles in your Userconfig file, so no more missing profiles or limited profiles.

HOWEVER LEA can only show mods that have been ported to it and downloaded from the repo. I'm working with Major Shepard to package the mods we use, i.e. Massi packs, Stalkers MTP packs etc so he can add them to his master repo.

However he may decide that some of them are not worthy, i.e. Jamie's excellent MX Black, which is as we all know far superior to the BIS versions.

SO I have exported these addon profiles for you and uploaded them here.

No that's not it.

The LEA program needs to know what is inside each mod. I.e. the name, weight, type and picture of the item it can add from each mod.

To do that you have to unpack each mod and analyse them then build up an LEA Addon package for each mod you want to use.

Nothing naughty - it's just a little tricky and time consuming - I've done the major ones already for you - just download them and import them

May I add a little "how to install addons":

1. Download the .addon files from SJ's link
2. Open LEA_A3
3. Menu, Help > Install New Addons
4. Click Import button, browse to .addon files downloaded

Then for those of you that don't read manuals, here is how to add gear to the uniform/vest/backpack:
- right click the container object (eg backpack) to turn it yellow, then double click the item to add
- right click any item in gear to change the quantity carried, without having to multi-click-add

SerJames, can I suggest a change to one of the .addon files?

MX_Black: the "description" that shows in the LEA Installed Addon's (HELP>Install New Addons) doesn't really fit or match the template. Maybe change to something like:

"MX Black 3CB Edition by Goodson"
or
"MX Black 3CB Edition by GDSN"
depending on Jamie's name preference.

Thanks for the detail Apollo - was too knackered to make the leap that people wouldn't actually read the manuals, but you're right sadly!

For the description, you're right, I didn't check what it looked like.

Simple fix, just hit EDIT once you've imported it and change the description on the 1st tab to "MX Black 3CB Edition by GDSN"
