Can't run arma 3 vanilla (can only run with mods)/edit FIXED


check the @SAA folder there is a dependancy on RDS tanks in there.. Comes as part of the Optional files and is needed so Syrians (@SAA) can drive T72's... (@RDS Tanks)

Check you haven't accidently added mods using Steam mod line or indeed from within the game expansions menu..

It sounds like you have some non-vanilla .pbo files in ...\SteamApps\common\Arma 3\Addons\ by mistake?
Seach for "rds_tank.pbo".

AHHHHHH yes APOLLO's got it..

You copied the optional PBO's from 

SteamApps\common\Arma 3\@saa\optional

and pasted them into

SteamApps\common\Arma 3\Addons

by mistake..

they should have gone into

SteamApps\common\Arma 3\@saa\addons

the files you need to move out of 

SteamApps\common\Arma 3\Addons

are called 

syrianarabarmyafv.pbo
syrianarabarmyafv.pbo.drongo.bisign
syrianarabarmyafv.pbo.six_saa.bisign
syrianarabarmycsw.pbo
syrianarabarmycsw.pbo.drongo.bisign
syrianarabarmycsw.pbo.six_saa.bisign

Note NEVER put anything into the Arma 3\addons folder... that's JUST for Arma Vanilla files :)
