What would you upgrade first?


What settings are you running at ?

How much RAM ?

Is the upgrade just for Arma ?

My leading questions are because I'm surprised with that rig, which is a GOOD rig that you're not getting better frames ?

Are you Overclocking ? You have an unlocked K CPU and a great board, so should be able to.

That GPU is really good too.

What cooler are you running ?

Get a proper cooler first. Try OCing.

If it doesn't work. re-use the cooler on the new CPU - simples

Sounds good - whatever cooler you get - don't try and OC till you're back up and running with the better cooler installed.

Intel coolers are designed to Specifically cool stock chips and they don't engineer in much overhead.
