Upgrading from HDD to SSD.

I run Samsung 850's too and rate them - Get the biggest you can afford as you'll find yourself stuffing it - and I genuinely only use my HDDs for storage now.

I must seem really stupid but i have started the migration process however the second sata cable connected to the MB used to be connected to the cd drive does that matter ? Currently using a caddy to usb as instructions say

As long as the SATA connection and Port you are using is good for 6GBS - or SATA III (3) then you're good

If/when I get a SSD I will most likely do fresh install anyway use me old HDD as storage for music etc.

If it's primarily ARMA you play the 970 is more than enough :-)

Anything more might be worth looking at a 980 or Ti if you can justify the cost (!)
