Right ladies.

I take it quite a few of you are having issues with PWS updating and whatnot, really simple fix...


Go to the mod folder that PWS downloads to, right at the top there is a file called ".sync"

DELETE IT

You need to make sure that PWS is not running including in the background or you won't be able to delete the file.

Run PWS as administrator and just like magic, it works again.

I have deleted the .sync folder and still not working at this rate ill have to pull out of the op tonight... bloody play with six. I have Uninstalled and reinstalled twice nothing seems to work just says processing.... any help ? 

Just leave it... it's doing something and probably trying to "Re-build" the sync file you've deleted.

Had the same problem, PWS had an update earlier in the week and since then its been screwy. Deleted the .sync folder and its spinning on processing. Not good me thinks.

We had the same issue on the server two days ago. Waiting forever on "processing" or "synchronising", can't remember which.
I fixed it by logging out of PwS (it was logged into Serjames PwS account), and then restarting PwS.
All was immediately ok.

Ok latest is that they seem to have had a problem with their network. This has manifested itself in waiting for "processing" "Syncing" etc.

They restarted all the mirrors at about 5pm tonight.... Fingers crossed for a smoother ride
