TFAR errors.


Installing task force radio on a new guys setup and just can not get it to work.

Myself and others including the whizz that is Rev have tried.

Everything seems to be in the right place. purged every trace of TFAR on his system, reinstalled teamspeak, tried a copy from TFAR website to use the direct files. Nothing seems to work.

On TS he is listed as having TFR installed.

Connected N, Play N, P:0.9.8

When he loads in, it says "TFAR is not active or version is lower than 0.8.1"

Then after a while, sometimes it connects but when it connects, he is moved to the comms channel but gets no sound. Other times it just stays disconnected.

We've spent about 8 Hours trying to sort this out and all out of ideas.

when he disconnected which was quite a few times I got this error message on my screen:

cannot load texture a3\ui_f\data\gui\cfg\ranks\_gs.paa

yep win 10 x64, no reinstall needed :)...

he was switched to the channel (as robbie mentioned) while he was on window mode...

  • tried to deactivate bitdefender & ccleaner
  • tried to move ts3 and tfar addon to another disk
  • changed arma & ts3 on high priority
no luck... strange...
