Personally can't tell without further info. TBH, if you've already RMA'd it I'd advise waiting for their report when they see it

It sounds like a hardware error to me.
When you get it back from the builders run as many stress tests as you can to check everything out thoroughly.

Including memory, people tend to forget about that. Can't remember the exact code, but I had a similar error with a bad stick of ram

That looks like a RAM error.

You could have tried taking out a stick of ram and booting, thenbswap over and try again.

That'll let you know which stick is dead if that is the problem.

Sometimes it's just badly seated ram and swapping them over is enough to fix it. I had the same problem with my old rig.
