1.60 Visual Update colour problem Custom maps


There seems to be an issue with the sky/water colours on custom maps after the update.  Odd dark or plain white colours.  Anyone else getting this.  Tried with Takista Zargabad and Capria.  Altis and Statis are OK. Podagorsk night seems OK, but daytime is weird for me.

Its an issue with the old Arma 2 maps, CUP have released a fix for this which we will have an update for TBA.

Quote from BI forums from CUP:

"The 1.60 update has just been released to the stable branch and with that comes the visual upgrade. For the majority of the CUP Terrains you will see a broken sky, but have no fear, pending there are no issues with the internal build we will have an update ready within a few hours that features more than just the changes for the visual upgrade."

It is out but not on our repo yet, so best have a seperate install if you intend to download it.

Rib, make sure your 3CB modsets are updated via ArmaSync. 

Once you're sure they're updated, try the following
  • Click on the 'Addons' tab in ArmaSync
  • Select and delete all the folders in the right 'Addon Groups' window
  • Click the 'Modsets' button above the 'Addon Groups'
  • Tick all the 3CB modsets and hit ok
  • Tick the modset you need (making sure the 'Join Server' selection at the bottom is empty) and hit 'Start Game'.
