PS4 Headset losing sound in game

Hi guy I have been using PS4 headset official 7.1 which works great when I first connect it but if I turn the headset off then turn it back on then I lose the sound in game but can still hear teamspeak chat also if I just turn it off and give up I still have no sound in game through the laptop any suggestions what might be the issue ???

tried to manually set my speakers to what ever device was trying to use  

You'll find many games won't cope with swapping audio devices (as happens if you disable and re-enable the active device). The solution is just to not turn it off while gaming!
