SITUATION:
45 Commando has been deployed to Stratis as part of NATO coalition after war broke out on the islands of Stratis and Altis.
The war started after AAF backed millitia engaged British and American peace keeper troops on Altis.
A small group of millitia made their way onto Stratis by boat in an effort to disturb the NATO chain of supply as
Stratis is used as the main staging point and airbase of NATO forces in the area.
The millitia we're driven off Stratis in couple weeks with minimal casulties.
After couple months of fighting the millitia on Altis started losing ground fast to the NATO coalition.

AAF got involved in the fight after tension between NATO and AAF started piling up to a boiling point as NATO forces found out about their ties to the millitia and small skirmishes were fought between AAF and NATO troops.
The AAF gained ground fast as NATO was caught off guard with the shear amount of force that the AAF was able to mobilize at short notice.
After AAF got involved in the war most NATO forces were moved to Altis from Stratis to fight the AAF leaving only a small amount of NATO troops on the island.
The AAF attack was stopped but the NATO forces lost the controll of the main airfield on Altis.

The Russians started to get involved in the dispute after the current president of USA called Putin out on selling fuel to the AAF.
Talks between NATO and Russia were first cold but after AAF shot a Russian television crew on Altis the Russians started to be more
open to discuss a cease fire to get the remaining civilians and Russian citisens of the island.
After long discussion between NATO, Russian and AAF officials Russia stopped sending fuel to the AAF for a short while as AAF officials didn't agree on a cease fire.
5 days into Russia cutting the fuel supply to AAF the AAF officials were ready for discussion about a cease fire on the island.
1 week into the fuel cut of AAF officials agreed on a 3 week cease fire and Russia opened up the fuel deliveries again.

6 days into the cease fire AAF shot down a Russian helo that was extracting the bodies of the television crew who were shot couple weeks before.
After this NATO was contacted by the Russians and they were ready to send a diplomat to discuss completely cutting fuel supply to the AAF. The meeting is set to happen on Stratis in the town of Agia Marina hosted by NATO on 2nd of July 2023.
The task of escorting the Russian diplomat was given to Yankee Company of 45 Cdo.

On 29th of June millitia men were spotted on the eastern side of Stratis and the US Navy troops sent to investigate were able to capture 2 millitia men who had intelligence on NATO millitary installations on the island. 
The remaining millitia is suspected to be in the Eastern and Southern forests of the island and they might be planning a possible attack on the Airbase or at the convoy transporting the Russian diplomat.

MISSION:
45 Cdo, Yankee Company
Yankee Company of 45 Commando has been tasked with the escorting of a Russian diplomat to his helicopter after the meeting between Nato and Russian officials in the town of Agia Marina.

Primary Objectives:
45 Cdo, Yankee Company
Escort VIP to Camp Rogain from Agia Marina.

Secondary Objective:
Neutralise all threats to the VIPs safety.

Supplies:
Section supplies will be loaded into vehicles.

Reinforcements:
US Navy fleet is doing an exercise West of Stratis in case of air support being required it is 20 minutes away from Stratis.

Weapon Control Order: Only fire unless fired upon or if he/she is likely to commit an act to endanger life.
Hard posture, helmets on.

CIVILIAN POPULATION:
Medium civilian presence in the town of Agia Marina.
Most civilians have left the islands rural areas after the civil war started.
