SITUATION:
Republic of Panthera, 2022-2023
In early 2022 NATO backed Republic of Panthera (RP) was under heavy pressure from Russian influence after a civil war broke out between them and the Russian backed Communist Peoples party of Panthera (CPPP).
The cause for the civil war was the assassination of the CPPP leader by currently unknown force. The CPPP claimed that the government was behind the assassination, thus the war. After both sides took heavy losses in the fighting both sides asked for intervention from their allies.


Republic of Panthera, 15th March 2023
After negotiations between NATO and Russia the island nation was split between the two opposing sides and the war ended with a lot of tension between the fighting sides.


Archipelago of Panthera, 12th April 2024
After a quiet time Russia starts moving more forces to the areas they hold. NATO HQ gets reports of Russian activity rising in the Archipelago.


Archipelago of Panthera, 16th April 2024
NATO military installations are hit with heavy artillery fire and cruise missiles.
NATO HQ gets reports of unmarked units moving in the surrounding areas of Airbase Fortieste.
Evacuation of civilians starts. First enemy paratroopers land on the main island.
Russian planes seen in the horizon to the South-west of the Archipelago.


Archipelago of Panthera, 16th April 2024
NATO forces lose communication with the French forces in Airbase Boriana.
All civilians have been evacuated from the surrounding areas of Airbase Fortieste.


Archipelago of Panthera, Airbase Fortieste, 17th April 2024
All NATO forces at Airbase Fortieste are expected to be killed or captured after communications with British and American forces on the island is lost.
Russian attack on the Main airfield to the North of the main island fails after British and German forces are alerted on an attack from the air and are able to neutralise most of Russian planes transporting Paratroops.

3 Commando Brigade (40 Cdo), 18th April 2024, 0345
British infantry units from 3 Commando Brigade we're tasked to assault and hold vital military positions in the South-Western island of Panthera.

British infantry units from 3 Commando Brigade we're able to hold the enemy counter offensive after Nato forces we're able to regain air-superiority for a moment that enabled the transportation of reinforcements to the AO. In the following few weeks the battle quiets down and both sides start to dig in as both sides lack supplies and equipment to throw a large offensive.

Archipelago of Panthera, 27th April 2024,
Russian forces start re-organizing after a defeat on all fronts. Russian naval fleet from the mainland Russia starts sailing towards the archipelago.

Archipelago of Panthera, Airbase Fortieste, 29th April 2024
The forces situated at Airbase Fortieste receives a command from NATO HQ that they need to capture and hold the rest of the island before Russian fleet gets too close of the archipelago.

British infantry units from 3 Commando Brigade have been tasked to capture and hold rest of the Russian held ground on the island.

• The remaining of 51st VDV regiment of 106th Guards Airborne, 150 personnel.
• Spetznaz platoon 20-40 personnel.

Hold ground until reinforcements arrive.

Primary Assets:
2x Coyote HMG, 4x Unarmed Land Rover, 7x Jackal HMG.

Supplies:
2x Section supplies, 1x Medical supplies and 1x Crate of ILAW per section. Also you might find supplies left behind by NATO.

Reinforcements:
Reinserts via triage tent.

• Weapon control order: weapons hold.
• Hard posture, Helmets on.
• Civilian casualties are to be avoided
• Weapons and ammo caches are to be collected or detonated, if safe to do so.
• IED's are to be defused or detonated.
• Captured insurgents are to be detained.
