Situation

Two days ago, 3 Marines were killed when a large IED was command detonated under their vehicle. Yesterday several new IED types were uncovered while units were on patrol in the Green Zone. ICOM indicates that these devices are the work of a foreign Jihadi rather than Afghan native. His identity is as yet unknown, more investigation and evidence gathering is needed to build the profile. In the meantime, a possible bomb factory has been identified in the vicinity of Sufian (GR 016 071) which may or may not be connected. 

Mission

3 Commando Brigade are to mount a patrol to clear the area of enemy combatants, secure the potential bomb factory and extract any evidence/prisoners encountered.
