This is a public action. A meet up.

Public ops will have a sign-up like private ops but open to guests.

So once you've signed up you can't see it? I signed/registered as maybe, but want to change to definitely, but the options have disappeared. 

I assumed you used one of those poll things, but I logged out AND used a different browser and still can't see it.

Looks like the signup was removed mate . As this is a casual session, you're welcome to drop in whenever you can. 

I believe the official monthly public operations will involve a signup however (as the server will be password protected to prevent drop-ins interrupting the operation). 

Roles are first come first served.

Edit on last, can no longer make it! It's a huge shame  that I can't attend. Can I ask, will these operations also count towards my recruit review or not?

Recruits are not just assessed on private ops. All ops and the public server are taken into account as well as interaction within the unit in general.

The criteria is "do they fit in the unit" not "are they good on ops"

Clearly there's a difference in opinion between the team.  I asked I believe it was Nemiuk about public operations. I asked him as until recently, attending private operations was incredibly difficult. So I basically asked of public was a form of assessment and would count towards my review and the answer was no.
