SITUATION:

The Horizon Islan is divided by political turmoil. Situated on a large Copper deposit, years of external exploitation of the islands following their independence has left a vacuum. This power struggle has birthed a well funded and well organised opposition to the NATO backed RDF (Rumah Defense Force) in the form of the FPA (Free Peoples Army).

The small islands of Sosovu and Yasa are part of the larger archipelago which form the Horizon Islands positioned in the South Pacific Ocean. Tanoa, the main island sits over a large copper deposit which has attracted foreign investment and industry for many years. The exploitation of the islands following their independence has left a vacuum. This power struggle has birthed a well funded and well organised opposition to the NATO backed HIDF (Horizon Island Defence Force) in the form of the FPA (Free Peoples Alliance) and multiple affiliate criminal groups.

A cell of the FPA are running their local operations from Sosovu and Yasa. Until recently they have been pirating local fishermen and racketeering in Georgetown. The local Gendarmerie are believed to be complicit in this illegal activity. Over the past week the FPA on Sosovu and Yasa; spurred on by successes by other cells active in the north, have begun targeting international shipping in the wider region and have attacked HIDF forces on the mainland.

Zulu Company, 41 Commando have been providing assistance to the HIDF against the FPA insurgency in the North. 1 Troop have been redeployed to destroy the threat on Sosovu and Yasa.

• 1x Aero Commander 500.
• HIDF Olive gear.
• Attached to 41 Commando, providing aerial reconnaissance.

• Irregular force with a majority of Russian equipment.
• Basic maritime capability.
• Unaware of an incoming attack, a good understanding of local terrain.
