Guess here comes the individual way of gameplay in again. I would disregard to be on 31 in most situations as FTL. I would only suggest to quietly listen to it in very peaceful situations for the sake of learning a bit. Otherwise I would always suggest you let your SL do his job and as a FTL (or 2IC) you focus on our own job.
