Chinook nose down quickstop

Saw this video a while back but i cannot get the chinook to turn its nose down through the vertical nor can i get it to maintain altitude with the nose plummeting. Is this a limitation of Arma, a limitation of the standard flight model/mode, or is it just because I am a scrub?
Ace pilots please share your wisdom or see if you can manage it please!

Will be and ARMA limitation. to keep the helicopter from not sinking, he would of counter pitched the blades fricking hard applying shed tons of backward force whilst in that turn, wouldnt be surprised if the co had hands on doing stuff aswell.

Please remember air shows are just that, the airframes themselves are not generally "in use" due to the above normal tolerances and stress put them as they required soooo much more maintanence and inspections than general use.

"come under enemy fire" - no chinook would ever be that low to be under small arms fire apart from TO/LA and these "manouveres" due to the above stress/strains would be a matter of life/death for the crew. (last thing to do under fire is to handbrake turn to a stop)

they dont call em flying tanks for no reason, normal routine would be carry on with basic evasive manouvers and let the gunners have some fun, or overshoot the landing and come back in again when the threats been neautralised.

ill still give it a try when im home from work though, you tried both basic and advanced flight models?

Basic Model, Impossible ( can not get the turns quick enough)

Advanced Model, Possible however much much more practice required

Could be wrong, but it doesn't look like it's going full tilt before the manoeuvre. What speed have you been trying it at?

I tried at full speed and at about 90

edit: No i have not tried the AFM. I tried using it once when it first came out and gave up in the interests of 3CB members

I'm not convinced that RotorLib the maths underneath AFM actually supports twin rotors realistically, as they are very much an edge case.
