Fatigue system...

Completely Agree....

Fatigue is good but it's building at about 200-300% of what it needs to be IMHO

Don't worry if BIS don't fix it...

Someone will come up with a way to

Have you tried running 100m in that gear for real?
Seems fairly realistic to me. lol. But then I'm not quite as physically fit as a 20 something royal marine (but much better looking).

Joking aside, has anyone done some empirical testing?

With no gear and on the level, compare game to real life (male 25yr, random google page):

200m :   0:32
400m :   1:11
800m :   2:48
1500m : 5:43

Royal Marines Pre-Joining Fitness Test:
2400m : 12:30 / 10.00

Then repeat above but with your chosen gear loadout. Compare and contrast.

What I really dislike about it, is that it feels like you add a tiny piece of gear and it has a big effect on your overall stamina that should probably not be this big. Also what is annoying is the lack of weapon resting in vanilla and the lack of proper weapon resting in CSE at the moment. Of course you can counter that with VTS weapon resting but it feels a bit strange that Bohemia brigns something like that into the game without some proper way of inbuild weapon resting etc.

There is no war to end all wars.

It's the casual jogging (with weapon down) and increased weapon sway when prone which is a little broken. I have no issue with reducing the ability to sprint after a long jog, increasing weapon sway when standing/kneeling as a result, or reducing the overal speed for a heavy loadout. However coming to crawl after a 20-30 second jog does kill the games flow - realism or not.

Additionally for those new to the system - lay down when recovering - stamina will regain quite a lot faster.

What really shocks me is that they decided to put in a fatigue system, but didn't bother to give users ANY way of adjusting it. It doesn't seem to be influenced by difficulty level and there's f***all in terms of scripting commands...
