TFR Basics

Below is a quick guide for how to set up your TFR radios both 152 and 155.  I have also made a video and once it is uploaded to youtube I will be posting it on here (thanks to Potominkus for his help).  In the video I cover A how to set up your first channel but also how to set up a secondary channel and how to talk on that as well.  It is a really quick video and not that glossy as I just wanted to make something so that those who are unsure as to how to set the radios up still are able to do it.  I hope those that need it find it useful.

TFR Basics
CH= Channel
CA= Additional Channel
Freq= Frequency
SL= Squad Lead
 
Set CH1 to the required Freq that you will be talking onthe most.  As SL this would be 31, 32 or33 as Hotel this would be 50 as FAC this would be 40 or 50.  Don’t forget to hit ENTER key.
Set your stereo settings for this channel left, right orleft and right.
 
Set CH2 to the required Freq for your secondary channelas a SL this would be 50 for command, Hotel this may be 51 same with FAC if you
wanted private comms, 41 for comms between air. (It’s all up to Hotel)
Click on the additional channels button, so it changes toCA, then set stereo settings for the additional channel.
 
Now reselect your main channel or it won’t work!!

Small note, Air: 40.0MHz, not 41.0MHz as in vid.

Sorry I didn't know what people were using these days as it seems to vary every time I come on.  How did people find it; considering this is my first "educational" video I was slightly nervous making it.

For a first time instruction video, great job. 
I enjoyed the intro accent, lol.

These things can always be "polished" a bit more - making sure there are no accidental errors during the instruction which reduce the clarity of what you're trying to get across, that sort of thing.

We could merge this together with this thread.
