Fire Base Julius needs YOU! 7.11.

Lets do some mortar action on pub @ SAT 7.11.2015 evening (18:00->)
OPEN FOR NON 3CB MEMBERS AND MEMBERS!

No prior knowledge required!
What you need is a lot of "yo momma"  jokes to kill "standby" time.
I'll take care of the most difficult job; leading and calculating the solution for firemission. AND also give quick crash course of how to use ACE mortars. Don't worry it  isn't hard. Actually I know how to use mortars in  ACE2 which is almost 100% simulation level.

Section structure. In priority order, we're going to use 2-3 Slots

- Lead: Arf
- Medic: -vacant-

1st. mortar
- Gunner: -vacant- (2IC)
- Loader: -vacant-

2nd. mortar
- Gunner: -vacant-
- Loader: -vacant-

3rd. mortar
- Gunner: -vacant-
- Loader: -vacant-

Loadouts: Be reasonable with the loadout! we are passive unit so we try to avoid full frontal engagements.
Here's ideal loudouts for roles:
Primary weapon L22a2 or equivalent carbine (for personal defence and to save total kilos) 6mags few smokes 2 frags. Minimal medical eg.
Medic: standard section medic stuff.
Gunner will carry the mortar tube.
Loader must have a empty bergen type D backpack and mortar base plate.
AT5's in cargo of vehicles.
No. 1 rule: Keep it under 40 kilos.

3CB making our own fireworks show? :)

It's a bit on the early side for me but I'll try and make it. Never used mortars before.

I'll try and be on for this. Should be about between about 6 and half past

Will probably get in to a section going out in the field. I like to see fireworks up close!

Lets do this again. My goal is to get first shot 1min after receiving the firemission.
2nd goal is to increase area of effect by adding  individual values for each mortar and adjusting between volleys.
