Is Men of War Any Good?

Men of War is a great game.

Well balanced strategy game, unless you're a noob and play in MP then you get owned and are like WTF.

You just have to stick at it till you understand how the damage system works. It isn't all build your army and charge like COH.

I'll be getting it, one of my favourite games. Plenty to do, SP, MP and COOP matches. Fun for all the family, 3CB I mean.

Look at this guys channel, he is pretty good at commentary and funny.

Sometimes the AI responses are poor but on the whole its your responsibility to use each man effectively. This isn't COH. If you're retarded and send your men out in the open carelessly they will die. Simple as that. Men of War takes a lot of management of your troops otherwise a match can turn against you very quickly.

Also lots of new features added into this game. Although it has been made by 1C Company which hopefully won't make a mess of it like they did Vietnam and the other ones. I trust digitalmindsoft will keep them inline anyway.

I'm in the beta so I will see how it has improved.

Yeah Blitzkrieg was a fun game. Even that implemented the LOS system that MOW uses today.

The beta itself has been a big let down. Although they keep saying most of the content is still coming there is hardly anything apart from new UI and upgraded models. The graphics ain't improved a lot they just look a bit more high-res (turn up da sharpness).

The game is laggy as hell, they've added some lame VON system and removed most of the community from the game lobby. It's all steam integrated which the only good I see of that being the account sync. Error crashes to desktop still plague the game and nobody right now is online.

I hope they delay the games release till its fixed because be a fail in the series if they do.
