The Democratic Republic of Stratis is a socialist country that is currently suffering from economic poverty due to corruption and sanctions from the international community. In recent years, the dictator has taken steps to appease the United Nations and ease sanctions, but the people still suffer under his rule. It is rumored that there is a group that is plotting to fight the government. Because of its former status as a colony with Great Britain, it has asked for help, and although initially denied, the international community is now seeking to help the people after the government allowed humanitarian aid workers into the country.
Recently, on November 23, 2021, a man by the name of Klawc walked up to the government building and exploded, killing 8 pedestrians and 2 government officials, 16 more were injured in the blast. With this incident, the government is now cracking down on dissidents in the local populace, increasing the hate from the population and even rumors have spread about that a local fishing village was cleaned out after many gunshots were heard yesterday, some believing it was a form of ethnic cleansing.
On the other hand, A United Nations resolution was passed and British Peacekeepers have been deployed to the small island in order to protect the humanitarian aid workers and their camp. Both the populous and the government show distrust to the foreigners, as they have not taken action towards the government or the population, but simply remaining in their bases over watching the Humanitarian Aid Camp. But now the British Commander in the area is still awaiting a response to his request to take action to help the civilians, but currently are stuck to dropping off food and medical supplies at certain areas with Humanitarian Aid Convoys.
(Notice the two extra town names which are Arkantos in the north and Nisi in the south, they are two extra fishing villages for people to live in if they want. Some may also request to live in farms out in the countryside, but please have some people live in community centers like the capital.)

DERP ANOTHER ROLEPLAYING FORUM GAME! Only difference is now instead of countries you play as people in the Democratic Republic of Stratis, a socialist nation that is on the brink of civil war. This will work out as a basic campaign that although role playing elements will be introduced such as peoples jobs and stuff (or maybe hiding in the forest making IEDs), I will make missions based on government or rebel operations (Peacekeepers too sort of) launched against each other. This could mean a Stratisan Army operation takes place in northern Stratis to clean sweep forests and local villages, or a rebel attack towards a government supply depot to steal weapons and ammo. Peacekeepers will also get more involved in the fighting too as the situation spirals out of control (maybe) and it may end in a big finale.

These three Commanders can appoint sub-commanders to take charge of certain areas, such as a army general in charge of the airports security and rapid reaction force.

Bio: Andros is a local truck driver who recently got his job after months of waiting for a government permit to allow him to travel freely to deliver supplies to and from his village and the capital city. With recent events he is now starting to sympathize that have already taken the cause to overthrow the government, but is unwilling to do so outright. He has been willing to assist freedom fighters by allowing them to hitchhike in the back of his truck to get around quickly without being pulled over by government forces.
